Chocolate Cake Recipe with Vanilla Frosting - Perfect Birthday Cake

Ingredients:

2 cups hot water
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2-1/4 cups sugar
1 cup softened butter
4 eggs
1-1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla
2-3/4 flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Salt
Vanilla Frosting
Candy, chocolate chips and pecans

Instruction:

• 2 cups hot water pour into 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• Mix and set aside until cool
• Cream 2 1/4 cups sugar with 1 cup softened butter
• Put in 4 eggs one at a time
• Put in 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla
• Pour in 2-3/4 flour, 2 teaspoons baking soda,1/2 teaspoon baking powder and salt
• Mix wet and dry half and half in two steps
• Put the mixture into 14" x 10" pan coated with shortening
• Bake at 325 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes
• Apply vanilla frosting on the top
• Spread some candy, chocolate chips and pecans
• Enjoy your yummy cake....
